Many times, we come across people who go out of their way to help us or do us a favor. We always find something amiss even though we may thank them profusely. A hand-written letter can help show your sincere appreciation and serve as a memory for life. You can express your feelings better when you put it on paper and send it along with some gifts. Therefore, here are some samples of Thank You letters of appreciation.

You cannot just write such letters without following a proper format. You need to follow some rules. The letter should contain the correct etiquette and wording that will sound sincere, and not very over the top. Write your letter within 7 days of the event, for which you need to thank the receiver. It should contain an introductory sentence regarding the specific event that made an impact on you. It should be short and to the point. Do not beat around the bush, just get to the point of thanking the person.

Your letter should sound sincere and have a personal touch. It should express your personal feelings, even if it seems to be a formal gesture. You should direct it to a single individual, and in case of an organization or group, address it to the senior person of the company or organization. The following templates may clear your doubts.
